This week we have been working on plays. At the start of the week we had to plan out what we would do but I wasn’t at school at the start so my group had to plan it. On Tuesday we had to sit in a circle and read the lines out to the group. Then on Wednesday we acted it out and read. Today we got to perform and showed our class.

Once upon a time there was a land called Kelly Slater Landia. In this land people have a really great talent. They are the best surfers in the world and they are all called Kelly. These people are not different from others; they act the same, talk the same and have the same haircut. This land is a tropical place where all the surf spots are perfect and clean. Their homes are right next to the beach so every morning they all surf. They don’t even know about work and how locked-in they are in surfing. All their homes are made out of surfboards. This land has a native plant called the Kelly Slater plant. The fruit fills them up in one bite.

One day one of the Kelly’s went surfing with some other Kellys. All the waves were perfectly 4-5 feet clean and everyone was surfing the best they could. They didn’t think about the surf because it’s the best spot in the world. All over the streets there were lots of surf shops that had perfect surfboards for everyone. All the

 restaurants had unlimited stocks of the Kelly plant fruit and they ate this with eggs. Every day. 

They didn’t know what was coming to their beach. On the surf forecast it  said they would not have swell for a week starting the next day. All the surfers are preparing for the next day. They were packing all their bags for the next day for a surf trip. Because they had to find a gem to fix the waves at their home.

The next day they are about to leave to go on a surf trip. They are all in a big bus leaving to get a surf gem to make the surf good again. On the journey to the surf spot gem they are all excited to surf again. They are 10 minutes away from the secret gem to save the waves. Finally there at the secret spot with the gem. There is a big fat surfer that is sleeping protecting the gem. If you make a little noise the fat surfer will wake up. So one of the brave surfers went into the cave and got the gem and saved the surf happily ever after.

This week we have been learning about how other countries celebrate Christmas. There are different traditions throughout the world. I have created a Christmas tree. This part of the Christmas traditions are from Germany. How do you celebrate Christmas?

This week we have been planning and making your movie trailer about Children of the rush. My group made a really good movie trailer and it was fun to make. The challenge part was to edit the video but we still edited it. Have you made a movie trailer about a book before?

Once upon a time there was a key to grow a garden world. The key was in the deep dark forest but Bob and Harry wanted to get that key. So they got in their car and drove to the forest but they did not know what was coming next. They creeped up to the forest then a monster jumped out and said you’re not getting the key. They dug a hole to the key but no one saw them digging it. Bob and Harry just made it all the way to the key so Bob got that key then went to where the key go’s. Harry put the key in the hole then they got into the grow a garden world at the end.
